  1. Summer Walking for Lake Desire Women – There are several opportunities to walk with your neighbors this summer.  Thanks to Dorothy and Tammie for coordinating these!

Wed Nights:

  • Start Date: WED, 6/17 (Through Summer) Contact Dorothy Paun, to.e@comcast.net for specifics
  • Time: 7:30 pm (will adjust over time as it gets dark earlier)
  • Place: Meet at the end of WEST Lake Desire for walking the park trails (e.g., over to Spring Lake or up Echo Mountain). Thanks, Liz, for offering a place to park in case the trail head parking area is full. Liz said, “I live at the end of the road, so anyone can park in my driveway (even if I am not walking that night). Also... there is room to park at the trailhead now. I see a lot of people parking there. I believe there is room for 3 or 4 cars.”

Thurs Nights:

  • Start Date: Thurs 6/11(Through Summer) Contact Tammie Cook at codsky@aol.com for specifics.
  • Time: 6:30 pm
  • Place: Lake Desire Community Clubhouse
  1. Wind Chimes on the Lake – A neighbor requests that people with wind chimes would give some consideration to others.  Noise pollution can certainly spoil the quiet serenity of the lake.  Wind chimes, unlike other forms of noise, are constant.  One gives thanks to no wind.  Submitted by  Kirby, Adraw@aol.com
  2. Teen Helpers Available - Jessica is available to babysit (she is 13 and has experience) and John-Coal (age 15) is available to help around the home doing odd jobs.  Our phone number is 425-277-6455 for contact. Submitted by Johanna Stroud-Mills, live_on@msn.com.
